The Media Resource Centre is South Australia’s centre for screen culture. It was established in South Australia in1974 to provide community access to film and video facilities. It now also offers a range of other services including: film information, film exhibition at the Mercury Cinema, and production assistance. The Media Resource Centre is an independent, non-profit organisation funded by the Australian Film Commission and the South Australian Film Corporation.
